This was my first visit and annual exam with Mount Pleasant Eye Care due to changes in my insurance coverage. The pre-exam was great. Is there anyone out there who loves the puff of air in the eye? I don't! Technology was a plus, not to experience the anticipation of the puff of air! The staff during the pre-exam were very friendly and explained the next pre-exam stage. Meeting Dr. Katelyn Steen was great too! She was very thorough, confirming my eyesight could see both far and near. Heard what I had to say about the stigmatism in one of my eyes and discussed any potential options.

Mount Pleasant Eye Center is by far the best! I’m not from the area and needed an eye exam at an office that also accepted my insurance. I read the reviews for Mount Pleasant Eye Center which were excellent. Dr Steen has the most up to date equipment,is very thorough and takes time to answer any questions or concerns. Devin (Optician) is great as well. He is very friendly and explains each test in his part of eye exam. He also let me know ahead of time about copays so there wouldn’t be any surprises at the end which I appreciated very much! I have had many eye exams throughout the years Mountains Pleasant Eye Center is exceptional!
