Dr. Katelyn Steen

Photo of Dr. Katelyn SteenDoctor Katelyn Steen has been living in the great state of Wisconsin for the past 4 years. She moved here in 2019 after graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry. While studying in Chicago, she was able to gain experience at the Illinois Eye Institute – one of the largest eye care providers in the United States that features a large patient volume and complex eye diseases. Before optometry school, she graduated from Rockford University majoring in Biochemistry.

Dr. Steen enjoys seeing a variety of patients and is particularly excited to help patients with glasses, contacts, red eyes, eyestrain, and dry eyes. She also is passionate about myopia control, which helps her young patients, who are nearsighted, by decreasing the amount of prescription progression from year to year and also decreasing their risk of eye diseases in the future.

In her free time, Dr. Steen enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her and her husband, Devin, love to be outdoors golfing, biking, walking, kayaking, and riding their mopeds.
